Official Rules
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Contest starts on or around 12:00:00 p.m. on the first day of each month, and ends at 12:00:00 p.m., PT on the last day of each month for 12 consecutive months Contest begins April 1, 2009.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Open only to legal residents of the United States, including the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico and wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
3. HOW TO ENTER?
To be eligible for this giveaway, you need to register at musicmogul.com to create an account. You need to complete the online form and ASUS will randomly pick a winner from the list of registered Music Mogul subscribers
4. PRIZES
Prizes will all be from the ASUS line of computers. The actual models will be released during the drawing.
5. WINNERS SELECTION
Winners of each month will be selected in a random drawing on the first day of following month. Eligible entries are those which meet all conditions set forth in these Official Rules. Potential winner will be notified by email/mail with a following posting on both musicmogul.com and usa.asus.com.
6. ODDS OF WINNING
The odds of winning a prize depends on the number of eligible entries received. The awarding of the prizes is based random selection of one individual per registration at musicmogul.com and will be conducted under the supervision of a Sponsor (Judge), whose decision is final and binding in all matters pertaining to this Contest. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of the Judges.
Terms & Conditions
1. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Employees of ASUS Computer International (“Sponsor”), their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate or win in this contest. This contest is limited to US and Canada residents only, and contestants must have a valid shipping address in the United States or Canada. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
Winners will be notified by e-mail or announced on musicmogul.com and usa.asus.com (at Sponsor's sole discretion) and may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Publicity and Liability within seven days of notification. In the event of noncompliance, if a winner cannot be reached after five business days on that winners' entry, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, that prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. No substitution of any prizes will be offered. No prize transfer permitted. If a prize is unavailable, Sponsor reserves the sole right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. By participating and accepting a prize, where permitted by law, the winner grants to Sponsor (and agrees to confirm that grant in writing if asked to), and those acting pursuant to the authority of Sponsor, the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the World Wide Web, at any time(s), the winner's submission, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness and biographical information as news or information and for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation or review.
Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend or modify the contest (or any portion thereof), or to disqualify any implicated entrant(s), if any fraud, virus, actions by entrants, technical or other error or problem, or any other occurrence corrupts or affects the administration, integrity, security, or proper play of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to award the prize (if not already awarded) to an alternate winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the event or action warranting such cancellation. In the event this Contest is cancelled prior to the stated end date, a notice will be posted at usa.asus.com.
2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
All entrants release Sponsor, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees, and all others associated with the development and execution of this website and Contest from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Contest and/or acceptance or use/misuse of the prizes, including but not limited to liability for personal injury, bodily injury including wrongful death, damage to property, and damage or loss of any other kind.
Sponsor is not responsible for prize quality or utility. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error; omission; interruption; deletion; defect; delay in operation or transmission; communications-line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines; computer online systems, servers, or providers; computer equipment; software; or failure of e-mail or entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Web site or Contest.
Sponsor is not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any entrants. Any activities intended to disrupt or interfere with the proper play of the Contest, or defraud Sponsor in any way will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Participants who engage in any of the foregoing activities will be disqualified and will forfeit any prizes won. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, worm or bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, which in the sole opinion of Sponsor, could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest.
3. DISPUTES
The participants agree that all disputes relating to or arising out of this Contest shall be first referred to the Sponsor in writing with sufficient information of the dispute, issue or complaint. Sponsor shall communicate with such participant in good faith and use reasonable effort to solve the dispute amicably.
THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF CALIFORNIA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Contest, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in California having jurisdiction. Participant hereby agrees that any claim, suit or other proceeding arising out of any way related to this Contest may be brought only in the federal or state courts located in the city and county of San Francisco and hereby consents to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction and venue of those courts. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participants' actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Contest), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. Any Contestant who does not agree with the above terms and conditions should not enter this Contest.

ONLINE CONTEST WINNER For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to “ASUS Music Mogul Monthly Giveaway” online contest, ASUS Computer International, 800 Corporate Way, Fremont, CA 94539, United States.
5. WINNERS LIST
Sponsor will announce the list of prize winners on Sponsor websites and social networking sites on or around the first day of each month for 12 consecutive months. Winners will also be notified by the Sponsor through emails provided by the winner upon submission on the same date.
Upon entering this Contest and thereafter, participants and/or entrants expressly agree to provide then current address to the Sponsor. It is each participant’s sole responsibility to notify Sponsor of any updated address accordingly
6. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Any entry must not be defamatory, obscene, illegal, infringe any third party intellectual property rights, or otherwise negatively reflect upon the Sponsor ("Prohibited Activities"). You agree to indemnify us fully to the extent permitted under the law, including but not limited to direct, indirect and special damages in the event of any claims relating to Prohibited Activities.
