Job Description Overview:
Sale representative for ASUS Systems Business Group assigned to our Commercial Sales Team. Responsible for all Commercial sales functions within an assigned account base. Required to manage and develop Named Resellers within Canada Market. The candidate will work to develop business relationships to best leverage and enable ASUS penetration across various market segment verticals, including specific emphasis and focus on B2B market vertical.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work and align with ASUS Sales & Product Management Teams to implement go-to-market strategies for ASUS Products and Services.
- Proactively identifies sales opportunities with assigned Reseller accounts.
- Focuses to develop ASUS relationships and engagement within all levels of the assigned account base.
- Executes a business plan focused on driving unit/revenue growth and measurement against defined targets for the assigned account base.
- Maintains multiple contacts within a large customer base, providing routine communication about ASUS products, programs, offers, training and promotions.
- Travels to various customer locations to conduct face-to-face trainings and meetings to further develop ASUS business.
- Work with respective territory resources to execute the sales strategy to achieve revenue objectives based on previously determined sales targets.
- Handle all sales related inquiries (via messenger, phone and email) from potential clients in the assigned territory and ensure the highest conversion rate (win %) of lead/opportunity pipeline;
- Contact assigned accounts on a regular basis to develop close collaboration and to stay up to date of potential sales opportunities;
- Be able to explain the technical aspects of our products in simple terms to ensure they are clearly understood.
- Be able to extract information and correctly identify needs for current and future projects.
- Monitor the daily sales performance of assigned partner and take appropriate actions.
- Conduct follow-ups and ensure resolutions of service related issues to partner’s satisfaction.
- Be organized and enter all relevant partner-related information and communications in our CRM system.
- Perform all other related tasks based on the needs of the organization.
- On occasion, travel to meet with partners and potential clients when required.
- Be available between 9am to 6pm. (Location : Montreal Office)
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in business administration or any related fields
- 2+ years of prior Outside/Inside Sales experience in IT Hardware, Software, Services or related industries.
- Named Account relationships and knowledge of the B2B market a plus.
- High understanding of Indirect Commercial Sales and Customer acquisition process.
- Strong Presentation and Communication skills.
- Ability to influence at all levels both with customers, and internally at ASUS.
- Expert knowledge of industry trends, competition, customer buying patterns and marketing techniques.
- Good time management, prioritization, attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Distribution/Reseller Channels and End Customers.
- Technical proficiency in Computer Hardware/IT environments.
- Proven ability to sell in a complex and dynamic situations.
- Highly proficient with MS PowerPoint and Excel.
- Perfect spoken and written English and French.
- Experience with Salesforce.com is a Plus.
Working Conditions:
- Works in Montreal Office (Downtown).
- Daily required Telephone, Email, Communication duties.
- Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Face-to-Face Training, Client Engagement, Internal Reporting.
- 10%+ travel required.
